Hojlund moves to the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona in a deal which also includes a conditional obligation to buy next summer for €44 million (£38m/$51m), according to The Athletic. The report claims the clause will be activated if Napoli qualify for the Champions League next season.

Denmark international Hojlund was surplus to requirements at United after being left out of the squad for their opening four Premier League fixtures. The 22-year-old, who scored 10 goals in 52 appearances in all competitions in 2024-25, had previously expressed his desire to stay and fight for a place at Old Trafford.
