The USMNT went up 1-0 over Panama Saturday night courtesy of a Yunus Musah strike, and a Christian Pulisic assist. The AC Milan duo combined brilliantly, with Pulisic sending the ball across the box and Musah tapping home with one touch. The play itself began with fullback Antonee Robinson beating a defender before finding the USMNT No. 10, who delivered the assist.
It was the first of two goals on the night for the USMNT in a 2-0 victory, with the second coming via a stoppage-time dagger from Ricardo Pepi off the bench.

The first goal of the Pochettino era, Musah's strike, arrived after a scoreless first half from both sides. Just three minutes into the second half, the USMNT looked energized and more purposeful with their movement – with it obviously paying off quickly.
Saturday was Pulisic's second-straight match with a goal-contribution for the U.S. since Copa America 2024. In September, he scored in a 1-1 draw with New Zealand. Musah, meanwhile, bagged his first-ever international goal for the USMNT.
