Per Sky Sports, Dortmund are being deemed favourites ahead of Premier League giants Liverpool to sign the 21-year-old forward in the ongoing summer transfer window. BVB have reportedly submitted an initial bid worth €25 million (£21m/$27m), however, the player's current club Hoffenheim are demanding more money.

The 2023-24 Champions League runners-up are looking to add a striker to their roster after the departure of Niclas Fullkrug, who joined West Ham United earlier this month. Beier had an impressive outing with Hoffenheim last season where he scored 16 league goals and provided three assists in 33 appearances.
