The centre-back posted on social media a picture of himself from the stands at the Allianz Arena as Bayern ran out 3-0 winners against Hoffenheim. Dier's former Tottenham team-mate Harry Kane was among the goals, netting in the 90th minute to round off the win after Jamal Musiala scored a double.

Dier completed his transfer to Bayern on Thursday, signing a deal that runs until the end of the season, though the German giants have the option to extend his stay until the end of the 2024-25 campaign. He opted to leave Spurs as he had played only three games this season under new coach Ange Postecoglou.
